Creative Living Arts and Clothing Design Major

　This major teaches students comprehensive design mainly in the areas of clothing design and living space design, areas that tend to change with the times. Learning is provided through the study of theory, seminars and practical training that are closely related to everyday life. The curriculum allows students to develop their aesthetic sense and creativity with the goal of nurturing students' specialized abilities and cultivating a spirit of craftsmanship.

Dietary Studies Major

　This major provides students with the specialized knowledge that allows them to provide counseling to consumers. Students study food that is most appropriate for today's diversified lifestyles through a scientific and cultural approach. They acquire in-depth knowledge about foods that are closely related to people's health through the study of dietary cultures around the world. They learn about food production and cooking as well as nutrition and health, useful for employment in health services.

Computer and Business Studies Major

　This major provides students with the specialized knowledge that will allow them to make contributions in the business world. Students learn about information technology (IT), acquire practical skills through the "Intensive Practical Training in IT" program. This program teaches cutting edge IT and gives them the ability to utilize IT equipment for interpersonal communication.

Department of Nutrition

　The Department of Nutrition trains students as dietitians with the ability to provide guidance on nutrition management for the maintenance and promotion of health. They also learn to give guidance on dietary habits in general. In order to be able to solve problems and make improvements in health and nutrition, students learn about basic nutrition needs during the various stages of life from early childhood to old age as well as about appropriate diet for those recovering from disease.

Department of Early Childhood Education

　The Department of Early Childhood Education provides students with specialized knowledge in the fields of childcare, education and welfare. They are taught the importance of life and the need for kindness to cope with the trend toward nuclear families and poor interpersonal relations in the local community, both of which impact on child rearing. The students are trained as childcare workers and kindergarten teachers with a rich sense of humanity and a welfare-oriented mind who respond to the various demands of childcare support.

Department of Advanced Studies in Applied Life Studies

　In further pursuit of the educational objectives of the College, the Department of Advanced Studies provides specialized courses reflecting the current trends in the two areas of clothing design and living space design. These courses are designed to provide advanced knowledge and improvement in the students' skills with the aim of training students to be capable professionals with reliable skills.
